Carrot & Apple Puree
Ingredients:

Tip:
This puree is also suitable for freezing in larger quantities.
Carotene, which is important for the metabolism, can only be used by the human body in conjunction with fat. So always add a little oil, cream or butter when cooking carrots.
- 100g carrots
- 100g apple, peeled, cored
- 1 tsp. oil (e.g. sunflower oil)

Instructions:
- Scrub and wash the carrots well and then chop them.
- Even though there are many vitamins in the skin, the apple should, in this case, be peeled (otherwise rough chunks will later be present in the puree). Afterwards, carefully core the apple and slice into small pieces.
- Now stew the carrots in a little water in a pan. Add the apple after approx. 10 minutes and stew for a further 5 minutes. Finally add a teaspoon of oil and thoroughly puree everything with a hand-held blender.
